Our target audience is the type of people in the above pictures. This is because they are stereotypical teenagers and young adults, whoa are horror film viewers. These types of people may like current music, music which is popular and in the charts. Our target audience would also shop in places like Primark, Top man, river island etc. This is because they are popular and our target audience we want is the current, up to date, trendy 18-26 year olds. These people would wear, jeans, hoodies and trainers. this means when they see our film, they can relate to it as the characters in our film are wearing similar clothing.

TV shows that they would watch would be programmes like, Breaking Bad, Dexter, Prison Break and Sherlock. the reason why they would watch these is because they're a series which are blood pumping and stimulating and have proven to be popular and successful with this group of people. this will then draw the same audience to come and see our film as it includes many of the same things, Eg, crime, horror and thriller codes and conventions.

The characters in our film are aged 16-18 years old. therefore the target audience would relate to our characters. I also included a couple, in the picture above, because they might go and watch horror films on a date as it would scare and entertain them.  

Our opening also includes very scary music and a character with a weird Ora. this would appeal to teenagers and young adults because they often like to be entertained by weird and unusual stories. they would then discuss these with their friends. therefore, after watching our film, they then talk about the murder and scary events in our two minutes.

character analysis

Our film is about a group of teenage boys. They are represented in a stereotypical way because this would appeal to fans of the horror or thriller audience. The first time we see them we see that hey are dressed in hoodies and bomber jackets which are stereotypical costumes of teenage boys in horror films. the group are wearing rucksacks which are conventional props. also, the tone of voice of the characters show that they are normal; teenage boys. these characters would e recognizable to out target audience as these character types are often featured in horror films.
