Adam McKay is my favorite director. All of his films have such high expectations. Lets take the movie step brothers for example. At the time of release, there was so much hype around the film as due to his previous films, they all got good rating. Anchorman was one of his first films. This got such good ratings it got rated 7.3/10. The film was so good that people were demanding an Anchorman 2, which did happen 9 years later. Adam McKay's movies have such big budgets, exceeding $26 million. When the opening weekend of the released film get over $28 just on the first few nights.
